February 7th 2009:  Well Speccy has been working towards her Autumn return.
We popped into caulfield to see a normal morning in the training of Speccy.

 Brian saddling her up and bellowing out instructions.

It was a very warm morning and Speccy was being prepared for a canter. She has settled in quite well since coming down from Ballarat and the team were just giving her time to adjust to the environment. It wouldn't take long as Speccy likes the stables.

 Off she goes for a canter twice around the viscose.

 And then back under the track for the walk back ot the stables

She's keen and has not expended much energy as we return

Time for a roll in the sand box and let go of some more of that energy.

 Okay now Ted and John prepare her for a wash

John makes sure all the sweat and sand are washed away.

Even tho it is a very warm day she needs to be dried off.

There you go girl ... Feeking like a 4yo.

John takes her back to the stables where she has a fresh bed raked and a feed is waiting.

And also a good drink of water on such a hot day.
