12 July: Starspect will have her last run at Cranbourne today. It's a bit against her today on a heavy 9 but she's been terrific and today will be all about celebrating the highs.

Speccy Cranbourne
Speccy after her final run
Starspect has had her final run on the 12th July 2009. She looked terrific, not appreciating the heavy track and can now put racing behind her to look forward to a fabulous retirement and some little wippa snappas.

Speccy's career finishes with 28 runs for 4 wins and numerous placings and top 5 finishes. And to see the final run the Speccy team were on hand to give her a racing send off.  Three cheers and a few celebratory drinks. 

Look for the new generation of Speccys in the years to come. We can't wait!
