Speccys Final Run
12 July: Starspect will have her last run at Cranbourne today. It's a bit against her today on a heavy 9 but she's been terrific and today will be all about celebrating the highs.

Speccy in Hospital
Starspect was travelling from Bendigo to Caulfield on Monday afternoon when involved in an incident. Upon arrival at Caulfield, vet Mike Tweedie directed she be taken to Werribee Equine Hospital. She had deep wounds on her legs and surgeon Chris Whitton operated right away.

Post op Chris announced pleasing results and observations given the circumstances.

She is being looked after in the hospital and a post op recovery is being planned by hospital staff and vet Mike Tweedie.
